Hoover Forest Preserve Improvements

R.C. Wegman made many improvements to the Hoover Forest Preserve. The Education Building received new windows, siding, and a new roof. The interior bell tower was completely refinished and painted. The rooms all received new paint and refinished hardwood floors. The Hoover Rice Hall Building also received new windows, roof, siding and bathrooms; refinished hardwood floors, fireplace and kitchen. The Hoover Camp Clusters main bunkhouse received new siding, windows and a new roof. The cluster bunk houses received minor improvements. The Camp Fire Shelter received minor improvements as well. A new monument sign welcomes visitors to the Hoover Forest Preserve, and a newly installed watermian services the outbuildings involved in this project.
